Nevada Barbell Club of Reno coaches weightlifting for interested teenagers at Neil Road Recreation Center. Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Both young men and young women are encouraged to participate. There is no gender inequity in the sport of weightlifting.

All the athletes share a mutual respect and comraderie common to the sport. Each athlete will be given the opportunity to show their stuff at the Nevada Teenage Weightlifting Championships to be held in Reno.
